French Toast Muffin Cups

Oh my!!! These are so addicting!! These French Toast muffin cups make the perfect and easy breakfast idea! They are also fun to serve for brunch for any holiday! They are super soft and fluffy with a yummy streusel topping!

What you need

fl oz maple syrup

tbsp granulated sugar

tsp vanilla extract

cup milk

tsp ground cinnamon

cup white bread

pinch salt

cup unsalted butter

cup all purpose flour

cup light-brown sugar

egg
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a regular sized muffin tin with non stick cooking spray, set aside. In a large bowl combine the milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon. 2. Gently toss in the cubed bread. 3. Divide the mixture between the 12 muffin cups. There should be about 1/3 cup in each. 4. Prepare the streusel topping and sprinkle on top of the muffins. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing. 5. Serve immediately with maple syrup and powdered sugar if desired.View original recipe
