1. In a small mixing bowl, add brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, ground cumin, and dried parsley. Stir to combine for the rub. 2. Spray your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray and add the chicken wings. Sprinkle the prepared rub over the wings and use your hands to massage the rub into all the chicken pieces. 3. In the same mixing bowl (no need to clean), add hot sauce, honey, and melted butter. Whisk to combine well for the honey buffalo sauce. Pour this sauce over the spiced wings and toss gently to coat. 4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or on LOW for 3-4 hours. 5. For a sticky glaze: After cooking in the slow cooker, line a baking sheet with two sheets of aluminum foil and place an oven-safe wire cooling rack on top. Carefully place the cooked wings on the cooling rack. 6. Pour the sauce from the slow cooker into a saucepan. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water until well combined, then pour this mixture into the saucepan with the sauce and whisk. 7. Cook the sauce over MED-HIGH heat until it begins to boil, then reduce the heat to MED-LOW and continue to whisk as it cooks for about 5 minutes, or until thickened to your desired consistency. 8. Brush the cooked wings with the thickened sauce, then broil on HIGH for 2-3 minutes, watching carefully until the sauce caramelizes a little. 9. Brush with more glaze and broil for another 2 minutes. Repeat this one more time (brush and broil for 2 minutes) for perfectly sticky wings!
